For independent insurance agencies

Give your team its hours back.

HourBack shows where your CSRs and account managers lose time: re-keying between carrier portals and your agency management system, quoting the same client across several carriers, certificates, renewals. Then it shows which automations and AI tools will give those hours back.

  • Client details removed on the computer
  • No screenshots
  • Each person's report stays private

An illustration, not a benchmark. Your pilot measures your own team.

The swivel chair, measured

HourBack sees every time information is carried from one system to another, and whether it was pasted or retyped.

Example finding

New quotes are typed into several carrier sites by hand

How often, how long, and how often a retyped value doesn't match the agency system: the case for a comparative rater or a quoting automation.

Example finding

Certificates are built from policy data, one at a time

The steps your team follows for each certificate, and which of them a template or a self-service portal can take over.

Example finding

Renewals stall waiting on the client

Where work sits waiting, for how long, and where an automated reminder or a pre-filled review would keep it moving.

Works with the systems you already use.

HourBack runs on each person's computer and sees the screens they work in, so there's nothing to integrate. Recommendations favor tools you already pay for before anything new.

Your clients' data

Policyholder details never leave the computer.

  • Names, emails, phone numbers, dates of birth, and driver's license and Social Security numbers are removed on the computer before anything is saved.
  • Values moved between systems are matched by one-way codes, never stored.
  • No screenshots, no keystroke logging, nothing from personal email, chat or banking.
  • Agency results need at least five people taking part; tasks fewer than five people do are pooled together.

Start with your service team. Four weeks.

Three weeks of observing, a 15-minute questionnaire for the team, and a readout: where the hours go, what to automate first, and training guides your new hires can use on day one.
